Cloud migration & MS 365 Groupe Gapol
Empowering Groupe Gapol with Cloud Migration & Microsoft 365
Challenge
Groupe Gapol, a fast-growing multinational enterprise with operations across Africa and Europe, faced challenges with their traditional on-premises email system and decentralized document management. Communication delays, inconsistent file access, and limited collaboration tools hindered productivity across their regional offices. The company sought a secure, scalable, and collaborative cloud solution that would unify their workforce and enhance mobility without compromising data security.
Solution
Bridge IT was engaged to design and execute a full cloud migration strategy, centered around Microsoft 365. The project included:
- Migrating legacy email systems to Microsoft Exchange Online
- Deploying Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses across all departments
- Setting up SharePoint Online for centralized document storage and secure sharing
- Configuring OneDrive for personal file backup and remote access
- Enabling Microsoft Teams for real-time collaboration, meetings, and messaging
- Implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access for secure remote logins
- Providing training and remote support for users transitioning to the new platform
Results
Bridge IT successfully migrated all critical systems to the Microsoft 365 cloud environment with zero data loss and minimal disruption to operations. Groupe Gapol now benefits from:
- Seamless cross-border communication and collaboration
- Secure, cloud-based email and file access from any device
- Reduced IT overhead costs and improved disaster recovery capabilities
- Enhanced productivity through tools like Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Ongoing support and user training from Bridge IT’s Microsoft-certified team.
